the Bligh Park Neighbourhood Centre has several areas availalbe for hire

The neighbourhood Community Centre is located at 4 Sirius Road, Bligh Park, adjacent to the Bligh Park Shopping centre. The original building and head office for Bligh Park Community Services was built by the Hawkesbury City Council and opened in 1987.  The centre includes a childrens fenced play area.  An addtional fenced public play area is located behind the car park (pictured above).

The Building

The high roof is set with windows that provide exellent lighting and fans provide cooling.  Heaters warm the centre in the winter months. 

Double doors lead onto a small, safe children's play area that includes shade.  The gallery style kitchen has adequate bench space and two hutches facing the main hall which can be divided by concertina doors. 

Amenities inlcude ladies, men's and disabled toilets the hall looking westand a nappy changing area.  The flooring is polished vinyl whilst the foyer and lounge area are carpeted.  The Hall can cater for seating for up to 80 people.  It has a room divider to split the area if required. 

The lounge area can accommodate up to 7 people.  Situated next to the office it is available to hire by itself.

The car park provides parking for over 40 vehicles.  On street parking is provided at the front of the centre.
